FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far in advance should I book my session? A month or more is ideal for securing your desired date. It is not guaranteed to be available, but is more likely so. Also, this leaves a better amount of time to include your pre-session consultation appointment, any arrangements needed for locations, and other general preparation. This also doesn’t mean you cannot book within a smaller time frame, it is just recommended.
How long will my session last? Some session packages include anywhere from 30 min sessions to 3 hour sessions. A La Carte Sessions are hourly and up to you!
Where will it be? Sessions are on location, at pretty much any desired location within 20 miles of Keyport, NJ. Any sessions outside of 20 miles will incur a traveling fee, TBD by location. Monmouth County Parks system requires permits to be obtained at $42/hour and the fee will be added to your session package or session fee as per your contract.
How many people can be included in the photos? Both A La Carte and Packages include up to 5 people before incurring a fee for additional subjects.
Can I request specific photos to be taken (e.g. grandchildren/grandparents, solo of kids.)? ABSOLUTELY! We will discuss any specifics you are looking for at your pre-consultation appointment.
Can our pets be a part of our photos? Yes! They are part of your family, aren’t they?! 😊
What happens if my child freaks out? This is a completely normal fear and we get it. Kids are unpredictable and sometimes a temper tantrum is inevitable. When this happens, we will simply take a little break, allow you to calm your child down by talking/feeding/playing and then take the appropriate steps to easing back into the session. We will never force photos or send you on your way. That’s a promise!
I know what kind of look I want, but I’m not sure what locations to go to in order to achieve it. Can you suggest options? Yes!
What should we do to prepare for the session? I will send you information based on your specific session type.
Will we have the option to use props? Yes! Of course!

The products listed on your site are different from others I’ve seen. Is there any way to get different products? Depending on the product you are looking for, I will do my best to provide the option for you!
What time of day is best for a portrait session? Evening, after 4pm.
Do you offer professional retouching (e.g. zit removal)? All images are professionally retouched once ordered.
What products do you offer? I have an array of products from prints to large wall art and collages. Check them out on the products page!
If we end up needing more time on the day of the session, can it be added on then? Yes, if possible.
Can I order more prints/products later? Your gallery is available for up to 3 months, and products can be purchased at any point during that time. Other arrangements may be made for specific requests, just ask!
Why is your logo on all the photos? Will the logo be on the prints? The logo is displayed on all proofing galleries before selection. Any full resolution files purchased, or prints ordered will not have the logo displayed on them.
